Here's the problem, for example, I can load the Grand Piano softsynth play the keyboard and get absolutely no sound. E-mus repair centre is in Ireland and Im sure it wont be cheap to send.and lord knows how much itll cost me (even though I would guess theyll just replace a damaged board inside). I loaded the drivers and all SW for both units and the computer seems to recognize them. I just bought a E-mu Xboard 49 USB/MIDI controller and a Lexicon Alpha USB 2.0 interface for my Gateway laptop ( 1.5GHz 2 GB RAM, 80 GB 7200 rpm HD with SoundMax sound card) using CWHS 6XL.
